ADJUSTING THE MISTING ANGLE

See Figure 3, page 9.

The fan can be angled forward -15° or back 45° to adjust 
the direction of the mist.

USING THE MISTING FAN WITH A WATER 
BUCKET (NOT INCLUDED)

See Figures 4 - 5, pages 9 - 10.

WARNING:

Children can fall into buckets and drown.  Keep children 
away from buckets with even a small amount of liquid.

The misting fan is designed to operate atop a 5-gallon water 
bucket. 

NOTE:

 Clean the bucket with soap and water before each use.

  Place the bucket on a flat, level surface. 

  Set the fan switch and pump switch to the 

OFF  ( O ) 

position.

  Set the fan’s base securely onto the rim of the bucket. 

 NOTE: 

The fan cannot be attached to the bucket; they 

cannot be moved as a single unit.

  The end of the intake tube should go straight down into 

the bucket. 

  Install the battery pack and close the battery compartment 

cover.

  Add ONLY clean, cold water into the bucket. Do not 

overfill.

  Press the pump switch to 

LOW ( I )

 or 

HIGH ( II )

.

  Press the fan switch to 

LOW ( I )

 or 

HIGH ( II )

.

WARNING:

When filling, moving, or emptying bucket, be careful not 
to spill water and do not overfill bucket.  Spilled water can 
result in a slippery surface, create a slip and fall hazard, 
and cause property damage.away from buckets with even 
a small amount of liquid.

To move the fan to another location: 

  Set the fan switch and pump switch to the 

OFF  ( O )

 

position.

  Allow the the fan and pump to stop running before lifting 

the fan off the bucket. 

  The intake tube may be stored in the space provided on 

the unit.

 NOTE: 

The intake tube cannot be removed.

USING THE MISTING FAN WITH A GARDEN 
HOSE (NOT INCLUDED)

See Figure 6, page 10.

WARNING:

Always route hoses away from traffic areas to prevent a 
tripping hazard.

  Choose a flat, steady surface, such as a concrete patio 

or tabletop.

  Set the fan switch to the 

OFF  ( O )

 position.

  With the water faucet turned completely off, attach a 

garden hose (not provided) securely to the intake tube 
coupler and hand tighten.

  Install the battery pack and close the battery compartment. 

  Turn the garden hose faucet on all the way and allow the 

hose to fill with water. 

  Press the fan switch to 

LOW ( I )

 or 

HIGH ( II )

 position.

USING THE FAN WITHOUT MIST

If desired, this product may be used as a fan only, when not 
connected to a water source. Always disconnect the garden 
hose and place the misting tube in its storage area.

NOTE:

 The pump is not needed when the fan is connected 

to a garden hose. Using the pump unnecessarily may cause 
additional wear and shorten the life of the unit.

WARNING:

When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. 
Use of any other parts could create a hazard or cause 
product damage.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most 
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of 

commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use 
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

WARNING:

Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact 
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or 
destroy plastic which could result in serious personal 
injury.
