4.3 WAN Ports
The RX1000 series can optionally be equipped with T1/E1 WAN ports, which
communicate on standard telephony communication lines. Figure 26 illustrates
where these WAN ports are typically located on the chassis. The T1/E1 WAN ports
are equipped with standard RJ45 receptacles, whose pin assignment is described in
Table 7. The user should take note of the orientation of the RJ45 receptacle when
inserting or removing cabling.
