4.4 DSL
The RX1000 series can optionally be equipped with a dual-port DSL (Digital
Subscriber Line) card, which can communicate over standard telephone
communication lines. The DSL card supports the following modulation standards:
G.992.1 (G.DMT)
G.992.2 (G.Lite)
G.992 Annex A (ADSL over POTS)
Each DSL port is equipped with a standard RJ11 receptacle, with the pin
configuration shown in Figure 27 and whose pin assignment is listed in Table 8. The
user should take note of the orientation of the RJ11 receptacle when inserting or
removing cabling.
