● In buildings with high acoustic standards, check the conformity of the appli-
ance's acoustic insulation with regard to the floor where it is to be installed.
WARNING
The fireplace must be set down on the four adjustable feet. The
bearing surface must be sufficiently strong to bear a load of up to
140 kg per foot. Additional static support can be added at a later
stage, using point bearings. K fireplaces must not be placed directly
against the thermal insulation at the rear and on the sides. A
continuous
convection gap
of 6 to 10 cm should be left.
● Thermal insulation should be placed under the bottom of the appliance.
● Adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the fireplace, using the four ad
justable feet and a spirit level.
Connecting up the external air
● Follow the instructions on pages 15 to 22 to connect up the external air.
● Fit the fresh air regulators as near as possible to the facing.
● When fitting the regulator controls, make sure they are readily accessible..
Connecting up the ambient air
● Follow the instructions on pages 15 to 22 to connect up the ambient air.
● Only place filters in the intake vent for appliances fitted with a fan.
Flue gas exhaust duct
● The following materials are allowed:
- steel sheet, thickness ≥ 2 mm
- chrome-plated steel sheet, thickness ≥ 1 mm or in accordance with manufac-
turer recommendations
● A smoke regulator must be fitted in the connector:
1. Fit the regulator onto the appliance sleeve
2. Screw in firmly
3. Connect up the regulator rod and block it using a retaining pin
4. Connect up the regulator control and block it using a retaining pin
