Safety distances
At the front of the appliance
An inflammable coating or lining must be
laid
at least 40 cm
in front and on each
side of the loading door in solid-fuel-fired
fireplaces.
In case a bench is built, the same distance
is to be respected towards the fire opening.
On corner models as e.g. 720,
720 Giant, 720 Compact, Ellipse,
etc., if the side distances cannot
be realized, the inflammable lin-
ing must be put to the wall.
If a fire bench is installed, the lining should
also extend
at least 40 cm
out from the
loading door.
Hot air vents
There must be no built-in or inflammable
elements (e.g. a wooden ceiling) within
30 cm
to the side or
50 cm
above the hot
air vents.
