Message 

Description 

Query 

A message sent from the queries (IGMP router or switch) asking for a response from each host belonging multicast 

group. 

Report 

A message sent by a host to the queries to indicate that the host wants to be or is a member of a given group 

indicated in the report message. 

Leave 

Group 

A message sent by a host to the queries to indicate that the host has quit being a member of a specific multicast 

group. 

 

 

IGMP protocol: 

Enable/disable IGMP snooping. 

 

IGMP fast leave: 

Enable/disable IGMP snooping fast leave. If enable, switch will fast delete member who send leave report, 

else wait one second. 

 

IGMP Querier: 

Enable/disable IGMP snooping querier. If select disable, the switch can’t send query report. 

 

Note:
