FA ROTEX HPSU compact 308 - 02/2012
2.4.8 Low-cost connector (HT/NT)
If an exterior unit is connected to a low-cost mains
connection, the de-energised contact of the receiver
which evaluates the low-cost input signal output by the
power company is connected to terminals EVU1 and EVU2
(see fig. 2-29).
In the moment when the power company sends the low-
cost signal, the parameter [D-01]=1, the contact is
opened and the system switches to "Forced OFF"
(1
.
In the moment when the power company sends the low-
cost signal, the parameter [D-01]=2, the contact is
closed and the system switches to "Forced OFF"

.
– Type 1: For this type of low-cost mains connection,
the power supply is not disconnected.
– Type 2: For this type of low-cost mains connection,
the power supply is disconnected after a certain
period of time

.
– Type 3: For this type of low-cost mains connection,
the power supply is disconnected immediately

1) If the signal is sent again, the de-energised contact is closed and
the machine resumes operations. For this reason, it is important to
activate the automatic restart function
(Parameter [3-00]=0 "ON").
2) If the signal is sent again, the de-energised contact is opened and
the machine resumes operations. It is therefore important to leave
the automatic restart activated (parameter [3-00]=0 "ON").
3) To ensure continuous operation of the HPSU compact after discon-
nection of the main power supply (pump, control unit, etc.), it must
be connected to a normal-cost mains connection (see ).
