The [8-03] setting is not taken into consideration. In comparison with [8-04], utilization of the heat pump during hot
water supply is optimum.
(1 The operation of the backup heater depends on the settings of commissioning parameters BOH* and BUH* in the HPRA1 auxiliary control unit!
[5] - Bivalence temperature and priority temperature of room heating
The
bivalence temperature
is relevant for the operation of the optional
backup heater
s (BUH) due to a backup request.
If the function "Bivalence temperature" is activated, then after a backup request at the same or lower exterior temperature than
the defined bivalence temperature the operation of the backup heater (BUH) is limisted to low exterior temperatures.
If the "Bivalence temperature" function is not activated, operation of the backup heater (BUH) due to a backup request is possible
at any exterior temperature. However, activating this function reduces the run time of the backup heater (BUH).
The
priority temperature
of the room heating is relevant for the operation of the 3-way switching valve and the optional
backup
heater
s (BUH) due to a booster request.
If the "Priority temperature" function is activated, after a booster request at the same or lower exterior temperature than the
configured priority temperature, hot water is exclusively heated with the backup heater (BUH). This ensures that the full output
of the heat pump is only used for room heating.
The
target value correction for hot water
(corrected higher target value) ensures that when the outside temperature either
reaches or falls below a predefined value, the entire heat output of the water in the hot water storage tank remains approximately
the same.
The performance of the heater during its connection with regard to the requirements for
bivalence temperature
and
priority temperature,
is dependent on the settings in the commissioning parameters BOH* or BUH* on the
additional control unit HPRA1 (see section 4.3.1).
The following setting options are available:
– [5-00] Status bivalence temperature:
0 = Function bivalence temperature is switched off.
1 = Function bivalence temperature is switched on.
– [5-01] Bivalence temperature: Outside temperature at which or below the backup heater (BUH) is activated to support the
room heating.
– [5-02] Priority during room heating:
0 = When the temperatures reaches or falls below the priority temperature, the heat pump is used equally for room heating
and hot water.
1 = When the temperatures reaches or falls below the priority temperature, the heat pump is only used for room heating.
– [5-03] Priority temperature of room heating: Exterior temperature at or below which the hot water is exclusively heated by
the backup heater (BUH).
– [5-04] Target value correction for hot water:
Target temperature for the required water temperature in the hot water storage tank when the outside temperature is the
same as or falls below the bivalence temperature in parameter [5-01] and if the parameter [5-02] is set to 1.
