mode and 10 minutes in exhaust mode. It is recommended that
this function be allowed to carry out its function completely. At
the end of the run-out time, the motor and the extraction tower
will automatically switch off and the tower will close.

6.5  Increase and decrease the power level

The extraction tower can be set to 8 power levels, with 3 intense
levels (6, 7 and 8).
Activate  the  intense  levels  when  cooking  food  with  a  strong
smell  or  vapour.  On  higher  flow  rates,  the  extraction  tower
works for a fixed period of time: 1 hour on position 6, and 6
minutes on position 7 and 8 if the device is set to exhaust mode.
After this time, the extraction tower switches back to position 5.

lights

After  20  cooking  hours,  the  LED  next  to  the

  symbol  will

light up.

Follow the cleaning instructions as described in the

chapter, Cleaning.

After having cleaned and replaced the grease filters, reset the
cleaning indication.
Reset:  press  the

control  key  for  3  seconds  when  the

extraction tower is completly downwards.

7.2  Replacement indicator recirculation filter

(only with recirculation)

Indication: LED next to

 lights

AAfter a fixed time, the LED on the hood touch will light up. This
indicates that the recirculation filter needs to be replaced.

Follow the cleaning instructions described in the

recirculation box / filter manual.

A new recirculation filter can be obtained from a specialist dealer
or from the Novy website. After replacing the recirculation filter,
reset the cleaning indication.
Reset:  press  the

control  key  for  3  seconds  when  the

extraction tower is completly downwards.

7.3  I/O module connection

The  device  can  be  optional  equipped  with  the  Input/Output
module n° 990036 (as of version v5).

When the input of the module is used in “closed” input situation
the extraction tower will move to the desired height only the
extraction will not start.

The 2 leds between the cleaning indication

 and

 will

blink.
The extraction only starts when the input situation is “open”.
The  input  can  be  used  for  example  in  combination  with  a
sinwow switch in duct out mode.

When the output of the module is used the relay will close when
the extraction is active.
The  output  remains  closed  also  5  minutes  after  closing  the
extraction tower.

8 Cooking advice

Quality of the pots and pans

Suitable  cookware,  pots  and  pans  include:  steel,  enamelled
steel, cast iron, stainless steel with magnetic base, aluminium
with  magnetic  base  (±100mm  min).  Unsuitable  pans  include:
aluminium and stainless steel without magnetic base, copper,
brass,  ceramics,  porcelain.  The  manufacturers  will  state
whether their products are suitable for induction.

In order to ensure your pans are suitable:

Pour  a  little  water  in  a  pan  and  place  it  on  an  induction
cooking  zone  set  to

avtrekkstårnet fungere i et fastsatt tidsrom: 1 time i po-

satt i avtrekksmodus. Etter dette vil avtrekkstårnet skifte

tilbake til posisjon 5.

5.6 Auto-stopp

timene).

6.1 Indikasjon for rengjøring av fettfilter

 Følg rengjøringsinstruksjonene som beskre-

vet i kapitlet Rengjøring.

Indikasjon: LED ved              -lampene

LED-lampen ved siden av  symbolet vil

lyse etter 20 koketimer.

Tilbakestill indikasjonen for rengjøring etter å ha rengjort

og byttet ut fettfiltrene.

Tilbakestill: trykk          -kontrolltasten i tre sekunder når

avtrekkstårnet er helt nede.

7. Tips for matlaging

Kvalitet på kokekar

Egnede kokekar, gryter og kjeler inkluderer: stål, emaljert

stål, støpejern, rustfritt stål med magnetisk bunn, alumi-

nium med magnetisk bunn (min. ±100 mm).

Uegnede kokekar inkluderer: aluminium og rustfritt stål

uten magnetisk bunn, kobber, messing, keramikk, porse-

len. Produsentene oppgir om produktene deres er egnet

for induksjon.

Kontrollene låses for å unngå at avtrekksviften uforvaren-

6  Indikasjoner for rengjøring

håndboken for resirkuleringsboksen/filteret.

Tilbakestill indikasjonen for

rengjøring etter at resirkuleringsfilteret er byttet ut.

Tilbakestill: trykk           -kontrolltasten i tre sekunder når

avtrekkstårnet er helt nede.

6.3 I/O-modulforbindelse

blinker.

Avtrekk starter bare når inngangssituasjonen er “åpen”.

Inngangen kan for eksempel brukes i kombinasjon med

bryter i kanal ut-modus.
