2.3. Controller unit (7) of ROLLER’S CamView and CamView S
WARNING
Caution: Mains voltage present! Before connecting the electrical device,
check whether the voltage given on the rating plate corresponds to the mains
voltage. On building sites, in a wet environment, indoors and outdoors or under
similar installation conditions, only operate the electrical device on the mains
with a fault current protected switch (FI breaker) which interrupts the power
supply as soon as the leakage current to earth exceeds 30 mA for 200 ms.
The controller unit (7) has an integrated Li-Ion battery. Change the controller
unit battery before start-up.
Caution: Mains voltage present! To do so, connect
the power supply/charger to the mains/charger socket (16) of the controller and
a suitable wall socket. The battery charging time is approximately 3 hours. A
full charge lasts for about 2 hours of operation depending on the use. The
controller unit can also be operated with the power supply/Li-Ion charger.
Push the controller unit (7) onto the handheld unit (5) from above until it snaps
into place.
The controller unit (7) can be operated both by radio signal and directly with
the handheld unit (5). Transmission switches over to radio signal transmission
as soon as the controller unit is removed from the handheld unit.
2.3.1. Switching On the Endoscope Camera
The handheld unit (5) is switched on by turning the On/Off thumbwheel (4).
The Power-LED (6) lights. Switch on the controller unit (7) with the On/Off
button (8). Keep the On/Off button pressed for about 1 second. The brightness
of the LEDs on the colour camera can be adjusted by turning the On/Off
thumbwheel (4).
2.3.2. Inserting the MicroSD card
Insert the MicroSD-card in the MicroSD card slot (15). The tip of the arrow on
the MicroSD-card must point towards the display (19). The card snaps into
place. Press again to remove the MicroSD card.
Do not remove the MicroSD card or unplug the USB cable during photo/video
recording and data transfer to the PC because otherwise data will be lost and/
or the MicroSD card could be damaged.
MicroSD cards up to 32 GB can be used.
