Deleting Images
To delete one image or one video clip , use the delete button on the rear side of the
camera. To delete all images or video clips at once, use the delete option in Playback
menu.
To delete one image/video clip at a time
1. Rotate the mode dial to one of [
] playback mode,
[
] record mode, [
] manual record mode.
If you selected [
] playback mode, select the
image you want to delete by pressing the / button.
If you selected [
] record mode, [
] manual
record mode or [
] movie mode, the last image
will be deleted.
2. Press the delete button.
3. Select [ ] with the / button, and press the
OK
button.
The message “ERASE?” is displayed on the screen.
4. Select [YES] with the /
button, and press the
OK
button.
If you want to cancel the deletion, select [NO] and
press the
OK
button.
5. To continue deleting images, repeat steps above.
Even if you take photographs after deleting an image, files are assigned serial numbers from
the next number from the very last number assigned after the image was deleted.
Images can also be deleted in the thumbnail display. After the image is deleted, the screen
returns to the thumbnail display.
To delete all images/video clips at once
1. Rotate the mode dial to one of [
] playback mode,
[
] record mode, [
] manual record mode or
[
] movie mode.
2. Press the delete button.
3. Select [ ] with the / button, and press the
OK
button.
4. Select [YES] with the
/
button, and press the
OK
button.
The message “ERASE?” is displayed.
5. Select [YES] with the
/
button, and press the
OK
button.
Except for image protected, all images currently
recorded on SD card are deleted, and the camera
returns to the mode selected on the mode dial.
To not delete, select [NO], and press the
OK
button.
