Setting the Time and Date
The Time and Date screen will be presented if/when:
The camera is turned on for the first time;
The camera is turned on after removing the batteries/
AC power adapter or replacing the batteries.
When the date and time setting screen appears, follow
the steps below to set the correct time and date. You
may skip this procedure by choosing
CANCEL
.
1. Select the desired item with the / button. Enter the
values of the time and date by using the
/
button.
To increase the value for each option, press the
button.
To decrease the value for each option, press the
button.
Seconds cannot be set.
2. Press
OK
after all options are set.
When the mode dial is set to [
][
][
], the viewfinder display is active, and when
the mode dial is set to [
], the LCD monitor display is active. To switch between these
displays, press the
button.
About the Remote Controller
The remote controller allows you to capture or play back images away from the camera.
Be extremely cautious not to drop, violently shake or subject the remote controller to strong
impact.
Be aware of not spill water on the remote controller.
Do not disassemble the remote controller.
Avoid the remote controller near hot or humid locations.
Do not expose the remote control sensor to direct sunlight or other bright light sources.
