Using the Self-timer
When the self-timer is set, the camera automatically takes a shot after 10 or 2 seconds. This
allows you to get into the scene when taking group images.
The setting is canceled after the power is turned OFF manually or by the auto power OFF.
1. Rotate the mode dial to one of [
] record mode,
[
] manual record mode or [
] movie mode.
2. Press the
self-timer and remote controller button.
When [ ] remote controller is set, photographs can
be taken using the remote controller.
3. Compose your image, press the shutter button down
halfway and then fully down.
The front LED, then blinks, and the photograph is
taken after the preset time (2 or 10 seconds) has
elapsed.
The countdown displays on the screen.
To cancel the self-timer midway, press the
button.
After one shot is taken, the self-timer mode is turned to OFF.
When the self-timer is set to [
] or [
], the setting is automatically canceled after
an image is taken.
Using the self-timer [
] is effective to prevent the camera from hand shake when
pressing the shutter button.
