This feature enables you to protect important images to ensure that they
are not inadvertently erased.
Protecting an image

Set the mode select dial to "

" and turn
the camera on.

to display the menu icons.

[PROTECT]

and then press the OK

button to select the image to be
protected.

To protect another image, repeat steps 4 and 5.

Important
[ERASE ALL] (

p.106) does not erase protected images. However, [FORMAT] (

erases all the images on the card, including protected images.
