2.3.5 Max Hold in Scan Mode
The red enveloping line shows the strongest signals that have been appeared since
Max Hold
has
been switched on. Here also signals with a short period are displayed with their peak level as it is in
voice radio transmissions. Also signals with fluctuating levels are recognized with their max. peaks. The
peaks can be selected with the marker where exact marker frequency and level is shown in the line
above the scan graphic.

2.3.6 Listen Mode in Scan
Before starting the scan, a suitable
Demodulation
(AM/FM),
IF Bandwidth
,
Audio On
,
Audio Transf.
Rate
and
Volume
should have been selected.
During a running scan a double click on the signal peak stops the scan, sets the marker on that position
and the
audio modulation
of the signal can be heard. The following Figure 2-9 shows the listening at
439,25 MHz. If the scan shall be restarted, the listen symbol (clef) has to be clicked once. To stop click
on the listen symbol again.
If the
Listen Mode
is activated the marker can also be moved with the mouse (or the
cursor buttons
left and right) to other peaks.
