CAUTION

Options installed in UMS120 only control the settable frequency range.

Antenna Configuration (only UMS120)

Two different antennas can be connected to the UMS120 out of the portfolio of R&S monitoring
antennas (or from other suppliers) having corresponding or also slightly overlapping frequency ranges.
After selection in the service tool the corresponding transducer tables and connection cable types and
lengths are considered in the ARGUS control SW. Through this correct field strength levels can be
displayed.

In case of overlapping frequency ranges of the antennas the

Transition Frequency

can be calculated

from the tool (mid of overlapping range) or can be set manually by entering the value manually into the
appropriate input field if this is preferred.
Further the used cable types and lengths and – by use of active antennas – the necessary DC-feeds
can be selected. Clicking the <Update> button shows the antenna parameters.

After clicking on <Submit> the selected settings are activated on the UMS120.
