3.7.
Communications
The communications options allow you to configure how the WiNG-MGR conveys its
information to individuals and other devices.
3.7.1 EIA-485
If the WiNG-MGR will communicate via the EIA-485 port, configure the necessary options
here.

EIA-485 Configuration
Option
Description
Port Function
Select an output type for the EIA-485 port - either Modbus-Server or
BACnet-MSTP.
Default: Modbus-Server
Unit/Station ID
Set a unit/station ID, from 1-254.
Set the unit/station ID to 0 disable EIA-485 port communications.
Default: 0 (disabled)
Baud Rate
The baud rate is selectable: 9600, 19200, or 38400. Choose the
appropriate baud rate.
Default: 9600
