This symbol indicates that ignoring the accompanying explanation and mishandling the
product might result in death or serious injury or a fi re hazard.
Use is prohibited during a gas leak
• If you notice a gas leak, immediately stop use of the
product
1. Close the gas cock on the product and the gas cock on the meter.
In the case of gas cocks without a knob, remove the connector from
the gas cock.
Close the gas valve!

The following actions are prohibited
when there is a gas leak:
• Never light a fire
• Do not turn electrical apparatus switches on or off
• Do not remove or insert power plugs
• Do not use telephones in the immediate area
• Do not use fire to find source of gas leak
• Do not press nearby door bells located on the same floor
• Do not reopen the gas valve until gas is no longer leaking
Flames or sparks might ignite the gas and cause an explosion.
2. Open doors and windows to allow gas to escape to the outside.
3. Call the 24-hour Emergency Hotline from the nearest outside
telephone.
