Remedies for Abnormal Operation

•  If operation is abnormal, immediately stop use of the equipment, close the gas cock, and 

remove clothes.

1.  If gas does not light, or if you sense abnormal combustion or temperature, smell abnormal odor, or 

hear abnormal noise during operation, immediately perform steps 1 to 4 in the figure below. Leaving the 
equipment in this state may cause an explosion or a fire.

1.  Press the “Start / 

Pause” switch.

2. Open the front door 

and hold down the 
“Power” switch until 
you hear a beep.

3. Close the gas valve.

4. Remove the clothes.

2.  If you sense that operation is abnormal, follow instructions given in “Troubleshooting” and “Displayed 

Messages.” (See pages 43 to 48.)

3.  If even the above steps do not remedy the problem, immediately stop use of the equipment, contact the 

store of purchase or call Customer Services Hotline.

•  In the event of an earthquake, fire or similar event, immediately stop use of the 

equipment, and close the gas cock and gas cock on the meter.

(In the case of gas cocks without a knob, remove the connector from the gas cock.)
