The feed-out belt did not return to the home position within the prescribed time.
• Feed-out belt motor drive is obstructed (jammed paper, paper scraps, etc.)
• Motor harness loose or broken
• Feed-out belt HP sensor dirty, disconnected, broken
• Motor defective
1. Check the connections and cables for the components mentioned above.
2. Check for blockages in the feed-out belt motor mechanism.
3. Replace the feed-out belt HP sensor and/or feed-out motor.
4. Replace the finisher main board.

The exit guide plate HP sensor did not activate within the prescribed time after the
exit guide plate motor turned on.
• Finisher exit guide plate motor drive is obstructed (jammed paper, paper

• Exit guide plate motor harness loose, broken
• Exit guide plate HP sensor harness loose, broken
• Exit guide plate motor defective
• Exit guide plate HP sensor defective
1. Check the connections and cables for the components mentioned above.
