Testing the Main Machine Circuit Breaker
ƒ Follow the procedure below to test the operation of the circuit breaker. This must be
done at installation and at least once a year after installation.
1. Plug the main machine power cord into its power source and make sure that the main
machine power is off.
ƒ Do not turn on the main machine. The main machine must be off.
2. At the back of the machine, use the tip of a small screwdriver to depress the breaker test
button [A].
ƒ The breaker switch should flip from " " to " O ". This indicates that the breaker switch is
operating normally.
ƒ If the breaker switch does not flip to " O ", the breaker switch must be replaced.
3. Push the breaker button to display " " again. This resets the main machine for normal
operation.
ƒ
The main machine power will not turn on if the breaker switch remains at " O ".
