4.2.2 PREPARING THE LIFERAFT
Fix the equipment pack to the internal stud in the middle of the support tubing.
Fix the log book to the equipment pack after filling it out and insert it inside a polyethylene envelope made
waterproof with tape. After completely reconditioning and arming the raft, suck the residual air and leave the
overpressure valves open.
Put an expanded polyethylene ring cod. 55-52509018 (B) on each mushroom button (A) of the tent/tubing
fastening as represented below: this to avoid that during the opening of the raft, the external fixing hooks to the
mushroom buttons, avoiding complete opening of the raft.
Check the tension of the elastic cord assembled on the tent and destined to closing the tent on the tubing.
