3.5 LIFERAFT STANDARD EQUIPMENT
After carrying out all the checks on the pneumatic part, on the inflation system, on the valves, operative heads
and bottles and after carrying out all the repairs according to what is foreseen in the respective steps, on the
inflated raft you must carry out all checks on fixed equipment. The operations are the following:
Revere Offshore Ocean (Offshore Ocean Xtreme)
1) Check the integrity, and in case repair, the tent and the ventilation manifolds. Also check the preservation of
the lanyard and floating knife in the tent’s pocket (or in the internal lifeline for the Coastal Cruiser rafts.
2) Check the integrity, and replace if necessary, the internal and external lifeline cord.
3) Check the integrity and if necessary replace the following details:
water tank and gathering tube, floating anchor with spinning spring clip, floating ring with 30 m of lanyard,
ladder.
4)
lighting system: check the efficiency of the lighting system in all of its components. Also check its expiration
date.
5)
Check the integrity of the reflecting tape and replace the detective parts if necessary.
