3.3.3.3.3 Stopper replacement
Proceed as follows:
1.
Unplug the valve;
2.
Untighten and remove the old stopper;
3.
Insert and tighten the new stopper;
4.
Plug the valve.
3.3.3.3.4 Valve replacement
Proceed as follows:
1.
Untighten and remove the whole body of the valve including the plug, the holder and the stopper making
sure not to drop the fastening ring inside the buoyancy tube;
2.
Remove the ring by making it go through the anchorage hole sideways;
3.
Insert the ring into the buoyancy tube sideways, through the anchorage hole;
4.
Align the ring with the anchorage hole;
5.
Tighten the new valve body including the stopper, the holder and the plug.
6.
Centre the valve on the anchorage hole.
7.
Tighten the valve firmly by hand.
8.
Inflate the buoyancy tube until it has a cylindrical shape, but not to its working pressure.
9.
Tighten the valve with a suitable spanner, then inflate the buoyancy tube completely and tighten the valve
again with a dynamometric key calibrated at 25Nm.
