Take the tool off the O.H., replace the protection cap if damaged, insert the cap until the beginning of the
hexagonal part. The sphere must be positioned about in the middle of the cap’s cylindrical terminal.
7.
Fix the cap to the valve body with tape.
For reconditioning proceed as follows:
1.
Block the cylinder in a chuck, then pull the cable.
2.
Take off the protection cap after taking off the tape that blocks it.
3.
Unscrew the O.H. keeping the valve still with a wrench and without moving the valve- cylinder coupling.
4.
Unscrew the top with cone tip pliers.
5.
Take the spring out of its seat.
6.
Take the sliding shaft out of its seat.
7.
Take off seals and spheres from their seats; wash the shaft and the O.H. body with gasoline. Replace,
always, the OR – 106 and OR – 2087 seals, check that the spheres do not present oxide tracks. If they do they
must be replaced. Put a lot of silicon grease on the seals and on the spheres before putting them back on.
8.
Insert the spring into its seat, check that it goes into the first part of the sliding shaft.
9.
Screw on the top applying a torque of about 5 Nm.
10.
To rearm the operative head compress the perforation pin with the specific tool until its maximum
excursion. Insert the operation cable all the way down, unscrew the equipment’s clevis until it is freed of axial
strain.
