Make sure no-one is in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle during the loading operations.

Position the recovery vehicle as close as possible to and in line with the vehicle to be

Disengage the winch cylinder and unwind the required length of cable

Fit the towing ring and attach the winch cable correctly to the ring
o
Engage the winch reel so that the cable is slightly taut, then stop winching.

Release the damaged vehicle's handbrake
o
Shift the gear lever of the vehicle to N (neutral).

If possible, set the damaged vehicle's steered wheels straight and in line with the bed
o
Remove the key from the damaged vehicle's ignition
o
Place the damaged vehicle's keys outside the vehicle
o
Engage the winch reel and start pulling the vehicle onto the flatbed.

Make sure that the vehicle is straight in relation to the flatbed.
o
Stop winching when the vehicle reaches the front chocks on the bed.
o
Apply the damaged vehicle's handbrake
o
Engage a gear on the damaged vehicle
o
Secure the vehicle during transportation by attaching it to the cable under slight tension.
o
Lash the vehicle on the flatbed as shown below.
