RECOMISSIONING CHECKLIST
ENGINE
o Check all components per outboard engine manufacturer’s
owner’s manual especially fl uid levels.
o Run engine on “ear muffs” (fl ushette) before launching. Check
for fuel, exhaust, oil, and water leaks.
BOAT
o Install drain plug.
o Install battery and tighten all terminals.
o
Check all equipment, switches, alarms, gauges and breakers
for proper operation.
o Add necessary chemicals and water to
chemical
head.
o
Add water to fresh water tank. Turn on faucet to purge tank.
Refi ll water tank.
o Make sure all safety gear is on board and in excellent working
condition.
o After launching, check controls and gauges for proper
operation.
TRAILER
o Make sure all equipment is in excellent working condition.
