Assembly of the 130
Assemble the 130 DAS (Figure 52 on page 69) as follows:
1.
Gently re-stack the boards in the order shown in Figure 52.
Note: If new boards are added remember the CPU board is always last unless a
memory expansion board is added, in this case the memory board is mounted last.
2.
If the DAS has an EMI protective shield, either close the flaps re-install the cover
(plastic).
3.
Insert the six removed #6-32 screws (Item 12) or (Item 13) with the lock
washers (Item 21).
4.
Tighten the stack of boards with a screwdriver.
5.
Connect the loose end of the ribbon cables (Item 10) and (Item 11) by locating
the first pin on the connector and applying pressure until the ears of the
connector close.
6.
Place the O-ring in the bottom half of the case (Item 15).
7.
Place the completed flipped case assembly (Item 1) onto the case bottom base
(Item 15) making sure the O-ring sits in the groove of the top case as well.
8.
Bolt the two halves of the 130-01 DAS together using twelve #8-21x5/8 SS
screws (Item 16) and #8 lock nuts (Item 17).
9.
Seal and pressure test the 130-01 DAS. Refer to Step 7 on “Sealing and pressure
testing a 130-01 DAS”.
Note: Follow the pattern shown below in below to install and hand tighten the
nuts to the screws. Then tighten all twelve screws in the same pattern.
