Kickstart Configurator
Kickstart Configurator
allows you to create or modify a kickstart file using a graphical user interface,
so that you do not have to remember the correct syntax of the file.
To use
Kickstart Configurator
, you must be running the X Window System and have
Kickstart
Configurator
installed on your system.
Kickstart Configurator
is not installed by default, so you
might need to install it with
yum
or your graphical package manager.
To start
Kickstart Configurator
, select
Applications
(the main menu on the panel) =>
System Tools
=>
Kickstart
, or type the command
/usr/sbin/system-config-kickstart
.
As you are creating a kickstart file, you can select
File
=>
Preview
at any time to review your current
selections.
To start with an existing kickstart file, select
File
=>
Open
and select the existing file.

Choose the language to use during the installation and as the default language to be used after
installation from the
Default Language
menu.
