: The RED CASTLE carrycot conforms to security requirements and to the EN 1888: 2003 and the
EN 1466 + A1 Safety Standards. It is suitable for a child, who does not sit up alone, roll over or stand up with
the help of his hands and knees. From birth and up to a maximum weight of 9kgs.

: It may be dangerous to leave your child alone and unattended.

: Do not add any other mattress.

: Never place your carrycot on a raised surface to avoid the risk of falling.

: Ensure that all locking devices are correctly engaged before use.

: Do not use the carrycot if one of the elements is broken, torn or missing.

IMPORTANT: SAFETY GUIDANCE
•
This carrycot is for use only on the WHIZZ, CITYLINK 2, LUXOS and SHOP’N JOGG II strollers from RED
CASTLE and (or) RED CASTLE SPORT.
•
Only put this carrycot on a horizontal, even, dry, rigid surface.
•
Never add any other mattress
•
The carrycot must not be used without a mattress.
•
Use only spare parts supplied by or recommended by RED CASTLE FRANCE.
•
Do not make any modifications to this product.
•
Regularly examine the handle and the base of the carrycot in order to detect eventual signs of damage
and of wear and tear.
•
Beware of the risks induced by an open flame or any source of heat (for example, electric or gas heaters,
chimney, etc…) placed in close proximity to the carrycot.
•
Please note! Do not leave your carrycot near to a fire or near to any source of heat.
•
Unless your doctor advises otherwise, always place your baby on his back to sleep with nothing near his
face when lying him down to sleep. Make sure he is not too warm. To avoid the risk of suffocation, do not
use bedding which is too soft or too tight (quilt, blanket, space reducer, pillow…).
•
In order to maintain the hygiene of your carrycot, it is important to frequently air the bedding.
•
When the carrycot is secured in place on the stroller, NEVER lift up by the carrycot, but ONLY by the
chassis.
•
The sun screen has been designed to reduce the sun’s glare and limit the effect of UV rays. The use of this
sun screen does not exempt you from the need to protect your child. We recommend the systematic use
of a sun cream. Regularly check that your child has enough to drink.
•
Keep children clear of the stroller/pram when opening or closing it and clear of movable parts when
adjustments are made.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions for use
Hood :
Installing the hood on the carrycot. Insert the
ends of the hood into the places provided on
the carrycot then close the press studs located
on either side and at the back (1).
To remove it, inverse the procedure (2).
The hood is adjustable (3). There is a mesh
window at the rear of the hood to allow air to
circulate (4).
Fixed or rocker position:
Turn down the 2 horizontal plastic pieces
situated below the carrycot for it to be used in
the rocker position (5).
The base of the carrycot has holes which allow
the air to circulate.
Adjusting the backrest:
The backrest is height adjustable. To change
position, pull or push on the lever knob situated
below the carrycot to obtain the desired
position.
To raise it : push the knob towards the
middle (6).
To lower it: press the knob in, then pull it
backwards (7).
Apron and sun screen:
The apron attaches with press studs inside the
hood. The top part, close to baby’s head, can be
folded back or attached to the hood (8).
Place the sun screen on the hood and close the
press studs at either side.
Position the lower part of the sun screen around
the end of the carrycot (9).
Adjusting the handle:
The handle makes it easier to carry the carrycot
and to install it on the stroller.
To adjust the handle position, press
simultaneously on the knobs situated at either
side of the carrycot (10).
Securing the carrycot on the stroller:
The carrycot can be secured onto the chassis
of the SHOP’n JOGG II, WHIZZ, LUXOS and
CITYLINK 2 strollers thanks to the Attach brackets
included with the SHOP’n JOGG II and WHIZZ
strollers, available as optional accessories with
the LUXOS and CITYLNK 2 strollers. Please refer
to the Attach bracket instructions.
Using the carrycot in the car:
The carrycot can also be used to transport baby
in the car thanks to the carrycot Car kit (available
as an optional accessory).
To secure it in the car, please refer to the Car kit
instructions for use.
Care and maintenance:
The carrycot liner can be completely removed.
The carrycot includes a ma mattress
cover.
Washing the liner and the mattress cover:
machine wash at 30°. Leave open to dry
naturally.
To remove the liner:
- Remove the mattress
-Remove the liner
To replace the liner:
- Inverse the procedure.
Outer textiles
(hood + apron):
Wipe clean only. Use only a mild cleaning
product. Dry in the shade. Do not machine
wash.
Any prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
may prematurely discolour the carrycot.
