to the dashboard to accommodate the torque bracket and torque restraint. The following
illustration shows how to fit a dashboard extension correctly.
10. Draw around the torque bracket with a pencil.
11. Remove the SportPilot (and adaptor collar/woodruff key on

4
inch tapers)
from the steering shaft.

Remove the bolt from the torque restraint.
13. Remove the cable holder from the back of the SportPilot.
14. Apply the self-adhesive template (supplied) to the bulkhead, using the pencil
outline as a guide.
15. Drill 4 pilot holes using the drill bit (supplied) and then cut out the shaded
cable aperture.
