5.2 Mounting the scanner
Use a mounting location that:
• Is robust enough to support the Quantum
™
scanner, under seagoing conditions.
• Meets the requirements described under
Scanner Position
.
Then:
1. Tape the template to the mounting platform, ensuring that the arrow on the template is pointed
towards the front of the vessel.
2. Drill 3 mm pilot holes in the four positions shown on the template.
3. Drill out the pilot holes to 10 mm diameter.
