2. Set the hand valve on the injection pump outlet, if present, to recirculate the product to the supply tank.
3. Remove the cover from the injection pump calibrator.
4. Raise the pump calibrator plunger fully.
5. Reinstall the pump calibrator cover.
6. Verify the following:
a. Boom pressure is less than 83 kPa (12 psi).
b. Vehicle ground speed is less than 1.1 km/h (0.7 mph).
c. Vacuum pressure for the injected product is less than 37.9 kPa (5.5 psi).
d. Product application from the main tank if off.
e. Product application from the injection tank if off.
f.
The master Apply button is on.
g. At least one boom section is on.
7. Navigate to the Flowmeter Calibration screen.
8. Use the Rate Controller window to select the rate controller for the pump you intend to prime.
9. Select Prime from the Mode drop-down.
10. Press Start/Stop to begin priming
NOTE:
If any condition prevents the priming process from completing successfully, a Prime Fail pop-up
message will display. Acknowledge the pop-up message, resolve the error condition, and restart the
priming process.
When the rate controller detects that the injection pump is primes, a Prime Complete pop-up
message displays.
CALIBRATE THE INJECTION PUMP
1. Ensure that the injection pump is primed as described above.
2. Remove the cover from the injection pump calibrator.
3. Press the pump calibrator plunger down fully.
4. Reinstall the pump calibrator cover.
5. Verify the following:
a. Boom pressure is less than 83 kPa (12 psi).
b. Vehicle ground speed is less than 1.1 km/h (0.7 mph).
c. Vacuum pressure for the injected product is less than 37.9 kPa (5.5 psi).
