Chapter 4: KX III Administrator Help

IBM AIX Mouse Settings

Configure these IBM AIX

mouse settings:



Go to the Style Manager, click on Mouse Settings and set Mouse
Acceleration to 1.0 and Threshold to 3.0

Step 3: Connecting the Equipment

A. AC Power

Connect the power supply(s):

1. Attach the included AC power cord to the KX III, and plug it into an

AC power outlet.

2. For dual-power failover protection, attach the second included AC

power cord to the KX III, and plug it into a different power source
than the first power cord.

LED Statuses During KX III Boot Up

When you boot up the KX III, the LED lights behave as follows:



When first powered up:



All Channel LEDs are on



The Power LED is off



At the boot phase:



All Channel LEDs are off



If both power supplies are on, the Power LED is Blue



If one power supply is on, the Power LED is Red
