Winter operation
To prevent icing of the carburettor that can occur at temperatures below + 5 °C and in the
case of high humidity levels, it is possible to suck in hot air. As a result, the operating tem-
perature is reached more quickly.
Cyclone filter
Changing over from summer operation to winter operation
• o Release the clamp of the "Air inlet" rain cap (1).
• o Remove the rain cap (1) with the clamp and keep in a safe place.
• o Release the filter cover with clips (2).
• o Release the clamp (3).
• o Turn the air inlet (4) to the desired position (5).
• o Put the outlet (6) downwards into position, clip the filter cover tight with clips (2).
• o Tighten the clamp (3).

Leaving the machine
• Turn the travel drive rotary grip to 0 position.
• Disengage machine.
• Move the PTO shaft switch lever to the 0 position.
• Apply the immobilisation brake.
• Turn off the engine.
• Remove starter key.
• Place the machine on a motor protection plate without the attachment. The handlebar
ends must not contact the ground, adjust the handlebar height accordingly.

Attention
At temperatures above + 5 °C, cold air (normal operation) must always be sucked in.
Ignoring this can result in damage to the motor.
Warning
The machine may suddenly trap the operator or third persons, cause them to fall over or
run them over.
• Never leave the machine while the engine is running.
• Secure the machine against rolling away and unauthorised use.
