Counterbalance system
The counterbalance system makes it possible for the heavy attachment to be in a horizontal
position in the raised condition.
Securing the additional tyres
• Fit securing line (2) to follower flange
(1) with bolt (6).
• Hook anchor hook (3) into eye of
securing line.
• Secure securing bracket (4) to wheel
or follower flange (not shown) using
special lock nut (5a) or lock bolt (5b).
• Hook the anchor hook (3) into the
hole of the securing bracket (4).
Note
The arrangement of the additional tyres and the follower flange can vary.
Caution
The handling of cage wheels may cause hand injuries; wear safety gloves.
Warning
• If additional tyres or cage wheels are being used, it is essential to fit the wheel securing
device.
• A maximum overall machine width of 2.0 m is permitted.
• The machine may suddenly trap the operator or third persons, cause them to fall over or
run them over.
Default setting:
• Couple attachment to drive machine.
• Move attachment to horizontal position.
• Close lever (1) at counterbalance system
until the finger (2) is touching the
counterface of the attachment and
encounters resistance.
• Slacken lever (1) by two turns.
• Swivel down lever (1) to provided notch (3),
spring is pretensioned to the correct value.
