Single-wheel implements are equipped with a single side-arm

The "Z" beam design allows the mounting of wheels with large
diameter tyres.
The wheel unit is directional. The wheel angle can be changed by
operating the rack and pinion turnover system in order to steer
the implement.
The wheel serves to transport the implement and adjust the
working depth. Its height is controlled by a single-acting cylinder.
-
When working: depth is controlled by means of an adjustment
screw (2). An adjustment arm (3) aligns the wheel with the
plough pull line.
-
During transport: a safety stop must be placed to prevent
any risk of the frame dropping onto the wheel in the event of
a hydraulic hose failure on the hydraulic lifting circuit. While
travelling, a hydro-pneumatic accumulator (1) absorbs shocks
and isolates the implement and the tractor against uneven
ground.
