This section describes how to remove and replace the integrated storage controller in the DXi6900 G2
Node.
Caution:
Use appropriate ESD precautions, including the use of a grounding strap, when performing
this procedure.

Identifying a Failed Integrated Storage Controller
The DXi6900 G2 Node contains an integrated storage controller (Dell PERC H730) that supports the SAS
hard drives in the Node.
To identify a failed integrated storage controller:
1. Access the remote management console (see
).
2. Navigate to the
Status > Hardware > Details > Storage Arrays
page.
3. Under
Storage Arrays
