4.0 Manual Shutter

CAUTION: If the manual shutter is in the horizontal
OPEN position, it should be assumed that the

laser is capable of lasing, regardless of any other status.

The manual shutter, located on the side of the Laser
Head, allows or prevents lasing. Lasing action cannot
take place with this shutter closed.

Shutter Positions

Turn the manual shutter handle to
be horizontal and aligned with the
red line on the Laser Head.

Closed

Turn the manual shutter handle to
the vertical position.
