Safeties are activated in normal mode, when a safety is activated
the laser is turned OFF.
The CPU Board checks the different safeties :
- trigger safety,
- energy safety,
- shutter safety,
- joystick safety,
- knob position safety (energy and focus),
- slit lamp safety
- room doorswitch.
6-1 TRIGGER SAFETY
(software and hardware safeties)
The trigger safety checks value of the high voltage.
If the value of the high voltage is equal at the reference voltage adjusted for
1 pulse, 2 pulses and 3 pulses : the laser can pulse.
If the measured value is different of the reference value, two actions are
made in the same time :
- software action : error 13 (high voltage error), it is the normal defect.
- hardware action : error 10 (shutter error), it is the hardware detection
which activates the shutter : the laser cannot pulse.
NOTE :
Only one error message is displayed.
