6-3 SHUTTER SAFETY
(software safety)
When you press the joystick, the position of the shutter is checked.
If the shutter is not in the correct position, the following message will be
displayed :
- error 10 (shutter error) : the laser can not pulse.
6-4 JOYSTICK SAFETY
The impulsion joystick will directly activate the laser (no software action),
only if the following hardware conditions are validated :
- shutter opened,
- high voltage is at the correct level.
No error message is displayed but the laser does not pulse.
6-5 KNOB POSITION SAFETY

The knobs position are checked :
- energy knob,
- focus knob.
If one of the two knobs (energy or focus) is not correctly positioned, the
laser does not work and the following message will be displayed :
- Check knob position.
6-6 SLIT LAMP SAFETY
(software safety)
If the slit lamp is in front of the laser output, the laser cannot pulse and the
laser is turned Off (the screen is also turned Off).
6-7 ROOM DOORSWITCH SAFETY
(software safety)
If the remote is activated by +24V, the laser cannot pulse.
