1-3 DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM
System is composed of two main sub assemblies:
- MAIN UNIT : Laser Console,
- LASER HEAD : Slit Lamp.
MAIN UNIT is a metal enclosure containing all of electronics sub units.
On the top of it, there is SLIT LAMP which holds LASER HEAD. MAIN
UNIT and LASER HEAD are connected to each other with two cables :
SIGNAL CABLE (CABLE1) and HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE.
1-3-1 MAIN UNIT
MAIN UNIT is a metal enclosure containing all of electronics sub units:
- MAIN POWER SUPPLY / SWITCH / FUSE UNIT,
- MAIN DC POWER SUPPLY,
- AUXILIARY BOARD,
- INTERFACE BOARD,
- CPU BOARD,
- HIGH VOLTAGE CAPACITOR BOARD,
- HIGH VOLTAGE POWER SUPPLY BOARD,
- DISPLAY / KEYBOARD UNIT,
- BACK PANEL CONNECTORS.
1-3-1-1 MAIN POWER SUPPLY / SWITCH / FUSE UNIT
There are two separate fuses :
one for Line and other for Neutral :
Fuses are 4AT/250V.
1-3-1-2 MAIN POWER SUPPLY (12V or 24V)
Input is : 85 to 264 VAC, 47 to 63 Hz with maximum input current of
1,2A.
Output is 12VDC or 24VDC and it can with covered enclosure deliver
up to 40W.
