3. Once the document has been fed further into the gap, the separator can now be
adjusted.
4. The separator prevents more than one enclosure being fed at a time, and can be
adjusted using the adjustment knob located behind the versatile feeder hopper
as shown below.
5. Use the setting gauge on the adjustment knob as a visual aid to help achieve the
required setting. Turn the adjustment knob until the separator will just grip the
enclosure. clockwise decreases the gap, and anticlockwise increases it as indicated
by the markers.
For problematic enclosures, optional feed rollers are also
available; see section Changing Feed Tyres and Pickup Rollers
on page 180.
Loading the Flex Folder Hopper
The Flex Folder is fitted with pods of one 1000-Sheet, or two 500-Sheet hoppers.
Paper orientation in the hoppers will depend upon the job requirement. For further
assistance in the various appliactions see section Reading Orientations on page 122
and Non-Reading Orientations on page 123.
