With the
Vehicle ON
, press the Release Button on the Dash
Control and the Locking Pawl remains locked (

).

With the
Vehicle ON
, press the Auxiliary Release Switch
(optional) and Locking Pawl remains locked (
BB
).
When the Vehicle is ON the Release Button on the Dash
Control and the Auxiliary Release Switch (optional) are
disabled for safety reasons. If the system does not work
as described above, DO NOT use the Docking System and
call the nearest Q’Straint® office listed on the back page
of this manual.

Vehicle OFF

32. Disconnect main power source.
DISCONNECT ENTIRE SYSTEM

Disconnect the following (CC):
• Black Ground Wire (1)
• Red Power Wire (2)
• White Ignition Wire (3)
• 3 Pin Wire Harness (4)
• Docking Base Wire Harness (5)
• Dash Control (6)
• Auxiliary Release Switch (optional) (7)
Leave Auxiliary Release Cables (optional) connected to the
2 empty slots on the 5 pin connector attached to the Dash
Control Wire Harness (8).
PERMANENTLY ROUTE WIRES
Before installation, inspect the underside of vehicle floor,
note utilities, frames, cross-members, fuel tanks and other
possible obstructions.
Make sure there are no open electrical connections.
34.
Route all wiring and cables so that they do not interfere with
the normal operation of both the wheelchair and vehicle
(wheelchair castors, gas and brake pedals, etc.).
When routing wires underneath the vehicle, make sure
wires are free of moving components and utilize proper
grommets and sealing materials.
