Displaying Decoded Text
For Rigs: Elecraft KX3, KX2, K3, K3s
For displaying rig decoded text, the KLG takes advantage of
the innovative Elecraft feature whereby the rig decodes
incoming data and displays the decoded text on a scrolling 8
character display at the bottom right of the rig’s screen. The
data could be PSK, RTTY, or CW. It doesn’t matter. The KLG
captures these characters as they are decoded and displays
them on an 80 character screen for easier reading.
By displaying 80 characters at a time, you can read words and
sentences, and not worry about missing characters if you take
your eyes off of the rig’s screen for a short time.
Receiving Text
The KLG will display the characters decoded and received from
the rig starting in the upper left of the 80 character display.
Once the top 20 character line is filled, the next line is used.
