Preparing the buffer tray
1.
Allow all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature (15–25°C) before use.
2.
Wash the buffer tray (Figure 8) with warm water and rinse thoroughly with deionized
water.
3.
Fill the WP (Wash Park) and WI (Wash Inject) positions of the buffer tray with 8 ml QX
(HS) Wash Buffer.
4.
Fill the BUFFER position of the buffer tray with 18 ml QX Separation Buffer, QX HS
Separation Buffer, or QX FA Separation Buffer, depending on the kit in use.
5.
Carefully add mineral oil to cover all 3 positions to prevent evaporation: 2 ml mineral oil
to the WP and WI positions and 4 ml mineral oil to the BUFFER position.
