Specifying Settings
From the main menu, use the arrow key to move to the
[System Admin..]
field. Press
Enter
to view the System
Administration menu, shown below.

First, set the correct date and time. You should configure the Stratum with the correct time since it will use a time
stamp when logging events and alarms.
The following describes the other configuration options available within the System Administration menu:
•
The
System Administrator
field is a text string that contains the name of the administrator responsible for
this Stratum unit.
•
The
Device Name
and
Device Location
specify text strings that identify this IDU/ODU combination.
•
The
Link Description
and
Circuit Identifier
describe the location and circuit of the wireless link.
Finally, press the down arrow key until
[^ Apply ]
is selected. Press
Enter
to apply and save your changes.
Alternately, you can press
Ctrl-A
from anywhere on the screen to save your changes.
