Use of the storage containers
CAUTION:
The storage containers are not intended for use in
the microwave or freezer!
Clean the storage containers before initial use
as described under “Cleaning and storage”.
Vacuuming of storage containers
NOTE:
• Also refer to our instructions for use of the
device PC-VK 1015.
• Follow the “Notes on storing food”.
• The numbers marked with (*) refers to our
“Description of the parts”.
1. Empty the product into a clean and dry storage
container. Leave a gap to the lid of at least
3 cm. If necessary clean the rim of the container.
2. Check the seals on the lid. Close the container
with the lid.
3. Open the vacuum sealer. Insert one end of the
tube into the pipe connection

. Insert the
other end of the pipe into the lid of the storage
container. Turn the twist cap to the
“SEAL”
position.
4. Press the button
(10*)
, to start the vacuuming.
At the same time, gently press the lid onto the
container by hand. By doing so, you prevent
air being sucked in between the lid and the
container at the beginning. The device stops
automatically when a sufficient vacuum has
been created.
5. Pull the pipe away from the pipe connection
and from the lid of the storage container. At
the same time, gently press the lid onto the
container by hand.
Opening storage containers
Turn the twist cap in the lid to the
“OPEN”
position.
The lid can now be opened.
Cleaning and storage
CAUTION:
• Only the containers (without lids) are dish
-
washer safe.
• Always clean the lid and the sealing rings with
a damp cloth.
• If you are not using a dishwasher, clean the con
-
tainers in a bowl of hot water with the addition of
a mild dishwashing liquid. Then rinse them with
clean water.
• The cap in the lid (valve cover) can be detached
for easier cleaning.
• Thoroughly dry the storage containers and the
lids.
• Store them opened.
