a. New (first time) roller installations:
Insert either end of the common frame take-up roller through the inside of the
running belt. Be careful to not scratch or damage the deck surface or inside of
the belt while installing the roller. On new installations, It does not matter which
end of the new roller is installed on the frame, both the left and right roller shaft
and frame mounting hardware is the same.
b. Used roller installations (reinstalling the removed roller):
The roller must be reinstalled with the same right/left orientation as it was ori-
ginally installed. Insert the common frame take-up roller through the inside of
the running belt so that the left/right orientation is the same as it was prior to
being removed. Be careful to not scratch or damage the deck surface or inside
of the belt while installing the roller.
CAUTION
: Make sure the take-up roller does not drag across and possibly
damage the deck surface or belt while inserting the roller through the run-
ning belt.
3. Install the Take-up roller onto the frame mounting brackets.
a. Position the roller shaft ends so that the shaft mounting bolt threads and flat
sides are vertical. Then set the roller onto the left and right frame mounting
brackets.
