Drive Belt Tension and Alignment Adjustment
About
This procedure provides instruction to verify and make adjustments to the Drive Belt tension
and alignment for both the legacy frame and common frame treadmills. The Drive Belt align-
ment and tension should be verified anytime the Drive Belt is removed or when unusual belt
noises are heard during normal operation.
There are separate procedures for the legacy and common frame machines (see
), The new common frame has improved the drive belt adjustment
process by adding a drive belt adjustment bolt mechanism. The new procedure is faster,
easier, and less prone to error.

and will eventually cause damage to the drive belt and/or the motor or roller pul-
ley hardware.
